We at WeDO5 believe entrepreneurship is the single greatest force in making the world a better place. We are encouraging (future) entrepreneurs come out, participate, and create ideas and opportunities that drive real-world social change.
We believe in an inclusive definition of “women”; we encourage trans, genderqueer women and non-binary people who are femme-identifying but anyone is welcome to attend!
Are men allowed to attend? YES, MEN ARE INVITED! However, the business idea has to come from a woman.

I’m not experienced with startups & entrepreneruship. Is that event for me?
Innovation is not possible without diversity and influence from different disciplines. A startup weekend works by a variety of skills and experiences. Designer & creatives, software & hardware developers, business & industry experts, people with ideas & co-founders, students & professionals meet at the Startup Weekend to form teams and work on startup ideas.
Is everyone supposed to pitch a business idea?
No. It is entirely your choice to pitch a business idea or join the team of an idea you believe in. Either ways, we want you to enjoy this exhilarating experience of building startups. Still you will learn a lot about entrepreneurship.
I have a startup idea but it’s not technological?
That’s not a problem, you can innovate with cupcakes or a new rocket that works better than Space X, all ideas are welcome as long as they are innovative.
What is the language of the event?
The event moderation will be in English. You can discuss with your teammates and mentors in the language of your choice. German is spoken by most of the organising team and mentors.
What is the event schedule?
The event starts on Friday, 17.00h & ends on Sunday, at 17.00h.
Virtual Meetings
The whole program is brought to you virtually via Zoom. But don’t worry – you won’t be online the whole weekend. There will be sessions for all participants and there are time slots were you work as team as you want.
Tools used
Communication with instructors and the teams is done using a team collaboration tool. Virtual White Boards are provided to each team.
Age
You are never “too old” to start a business. You are very welcomed and we love to get your inspirational ideas and feedback on other ideas.
